Meetha Pooda Recipe
Step 1 Prepare the batter
To make this meetha pooda recipe, take a bowl and sift the whole wheat or wholemeal flour in it. Add sugar and fennel seeds. Then, add water as per the need and make a thin batter until the sugar is dissolved completely.
Step 2 Make the poodas
Now, heat a little ghee in a non-stick pan on medium flame and pour a ladleful of the flour batter and spread it slightly. Cook on one side until the base is golden brown and flip it to cook the other side as well. Similarly, cook other poodas as well with the remaining batter.
Step 3 Ready to be served
Once all the poodas are cooked, transfer a pooda to a plate and garnish with chopped almonds and enjoy! (Note: You can also garnish with your choice of nuts)
